Cordillera Huayhuash is a mountain range in the Andes of Peru, spanning from north to south, the main area with about twenty summits develops in an area of approximately 25 km, with a mountain range such as Yerupaja 6617 m and the second highest mountain in Peru (after Huascaran 6768 m above sea level), Siula Grande (6344 m above sea level), which became famous for the work Touching the Void by climber Joe Simpson.
The Cordillera de Huayhuash circuit is considered one of the most beautiful treks in the world. It’s not an easy tour, as you traverse high-altitude passes, but your effort is rewarded with its spectacular views of the mountains, turquoise lagoons, and stunning scenery.

Huaraz – Acclimatization Churup Lagoon
The Churup Lagoon is located about 20 km east of Huaraz in the Cordillera Blanca, on the Llupe & Pitec route, one of the most beautiful and most visited lagoons.
We leave the city of Huaraz by private transport to Llupa (3450 meters above sea level) from this place we start the walk to the churup lagoon, after 4 to 4:30 approx. we will arrive at the churup lagoon here we will stay for about an hour and then return to the city of Huaraz.
