Trekking cañón del Colca (2 días)

We will pick you up from 3:00 to 3:30 from your respective hotels, We start the trip towards the Colca Canyon, a trip that will last approximately 3 hours, until we reach the town of Chivay at 06:30 a.m. where we will have our breakfast.

Later we will move for approximately 1 hour to the viewpoint "Cruz del Cóndor". Here we will have an approximate time of 40:00 min to visit it and appreciate the famous flight of the condor and the depth of the canyon that is more than 3,400 m.

After this visit we will go to Pampas de San Miguel, located in the town of Cabanaconde, from this point we will start the walk. We will descend the canyon walking for 03:30hrs., to reach the Colca River where we can rest.

We will continue the hike by crossing the 1st suspension bridge in the area

Arrival and lunch in San Juan de Chuccho. After some time of rest we will continue the march this time to visit the villages of Malata and Cosñirhua.

At 17:00 pm we will arrive at the Sangalle Oasis, which is also known as an oasis. Here we will have dinner and stay for the night, it is a peaceful and charming place where we will enjoy its pools, surrounded by palm trees.

At 04:30 a.m. We start the hike again, this time ascending for 03 hrs. from Sangalle to the Village of Cabanaconde

Breakfast in the town of Cabanaconde and then take the vehicle that will take us back to the town of Chivay, during the journey we will make a tourist stop at a natural viewpoint to appreciate the pre-Inca terraces of the valley and a visit to the traditional town of Maca.

We will arrive at the town of Chivay at approximately 12:00 hrs. where we will have an hour to visit the famous Thermo-medicinal Baths of La Calera.

Buffet lunch at Chivay restaurant. (Not included)

On the way back to the city of Arequipa we will make a stop at the Salinas National Reserve where we will observe the flora and fauna of this beautiful place and then arrive in the city of Arequipa from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. approx.
